Lotus Elan Central

The poor Elan`s outside whilst me new garage is being bullt and because it is used to living indoors iv`e not previously noticed this problem: The fuel filler constantly fills with rainwater - the drain pipe is blocked. Two things:
1) Is the fuel cap water tight
2) I can`t seem to unblock the drain pipe. Anyone else struggled ? :!:

this has definitely been discussed in the last 6 months or so -- I recommend you do a quick search with the search button on top of the Forum page -- that thread will answer most if not all of your questions . . .

Oh yes found it now. Changed the fuel filter recently so know how to remove all the trim. Will have a go this weekend. Amazing what info you miss right under you nose when you don`t bother to look properly. Still nice to speak with you again. California enjoying better weather than we are at the moment i trust ?
