Postby E18N SE » Thu 24.05.2007, 15:47

Does anybody know if the hood stowage seal D100V0119F for an S2 fit on a early SE?? Also are the door panels the same for an SE as an S2??

Chris

Not sure about the seal, but the door panels are the same other than on the S2 a little piece on the corner is removed to make it fit, due to the improved door seals of the S2.

Hi Gazza,

Do you know how much the S2 door seals are and if they are available?? My door seals are pretty shot so they need replacing anyway. I'm considering changing the door panels because who ever owned the car before me must never have cleaned them. I have used some heavy duty cleaner on them but they still look discoloured. the S2 door panels are a lot cheaper than the SE so might be a good time to upgrade.

Cheers

Chris

S2 door seals are about £130 each I think, but the passenger side is not available as far as I know. If you bought the S2 door cards without the S2 seals you would have a whole on the top of door card corner by the door lock, unless you filled it with something.
