Re: A Pillar Seals -- REPLACEMENT IS POSSIBLE!!!

Hi all, this is my first post on this great forum and I hope I can help everyone with the "A" Pillar seal situation.
I have read about the seals from the Renault 19 convertible, however there doesn't seem to be any certainty or accuracy regards part numbers etc.
Getting to the point, I also have the issue with the seals on my Elan  So what I have done is made a note of the registration posted by someone belonging to a Renault 19 and got my local dealer to send a fax detailing the seals from this model. The only ones I could see that go up the A pillar are not handed and only cost £8.80.
Not sure if they are going to be correct but I have ordered one anyway and was told yesterday I should receive it tomorrow as it's coming from France.
I will keep you posted on this one because I'm getting sick of the wet knee syndrome

All the best,

Gaz
