Does anyone have the tool you need for removing a bonded in windscreen?
What exactly is it?

As Sy says, they use a piece of thin wire to cut through the seal. It might be 8 -10 foot long with a simple wooden handle at each end. No doubt there'll be some fishing line strong enough to do it.
