Remote Central locking of S1

Postby Coupeboy » Tue 18.08.2009, 09:32

I have an alarm/remote system but the remote only works the passenger door lock and I have to use the key for the drivers door. I can understand the logic of this as the S1's only came with keys from the factory. Assuming that LHD cars have the same logic would this mean that it is possible to make the drivers door lock on a RHD car remotely controlled as well? Just a simple yes will suffice and if you happen to know where the module is to splice into, even better - don't know why the alarm fitter only managed the passenger door. Scoured this forum for answers but no luck, hence the question. :)

Mine is an 1990 S1 with alarm fitted by the factory and it opens both doors - you can download the manuals inc the electrical one on the forum
