Remove hard water spots from glass

Fast & cheap. This will be the most cost-effective tip I'll ever give. Buy a bottle of 5% distilled vinegar (ie, 5% vinegar/95% water) from the grocer. Get the cheapest they sell, none of that 7% stuff, mind you! Either put it in a spritzer bottle or remain truly cheap and pour it on a towel. Rub it on the spots, not even hard as its a chemical reaction, not an abrasive one. Immediately take a dry rag and wipe it off, and your windows will be spotless.

Trust me, this works FAR better than Windex. But it is not for grease and all that sort, just white mineral spots. The cheap stuff costs about a greenback and is well worth keeping in your kit. I do.
