Now not winding right up

Had to happen at some point I guess, but on my Birthday and after finding the rear calipers from SJ's I got fitted are leaking brake fluid, I'm not happy!

OK So passenger windo made a stuck and grindy noise as I wound the window up. No probs on it going down. Left a one inch gap from the top.

Have tried lifting and it won't budge. It still motors up and down but badly and not to the top!

Likely repair advice appreciated.

Shower cape will have to stay on and go with me now due to the nasty June weather

Sounds like the slider has broken, the corner will be missing and thus will cant over and jam.

Replace the slider as per several threads on here...

There are hundreds of sliders going around... Mainly due to the Donny raffle last year.

OK. The only write up I can find is in replacing the Regulator. Is this the same thing?

Figure I'll need the little orange/red clips too!

Me again...

Garage had a poke inside the door (and have temporarily wedged the window up with some wood secured inside) and say it's the middle part with the motor and winder that needs replacing.

The side runners seemed fine. Could someone please advise in what parts it seems I need to order?

If you mean the whole of the motor assembly that's B100B0079F and is £217.00 inc VAT but looking at your picture it is more likely just the plastic parts that need replaced.
They are reasonably easy to replace assuming the cables are intact you just need to bend one of the stops out of the way to slide the centre slide on then bend it back, did mine on the drivers side a few weeks ago. POP

Update:

Had the two plastic bits replaced (butterfly clip and side block thing) but still grinding and not fully working.

Looks like the cable maybe frayed and needs replacing.

My garage isn't too keen having not done this before so I thought I would draw on LEC experts and put the job out to see if there are any willing volunteers?

You will of course be paid for doing the job!

The grinding sound is normally caused by the wires crossed on the drum after someones tried to overhaul it, it'll require reloading properly.
