Does anyone know where I can buy an Elan M100 RH door mirror glass. Lotus part no A 100UO204F Flat. I have asked around and nobody has them as they are an obsolete part.
So it looks like it will have to be secondhand.
I have been told that TVR or Noble might have used the same type but can't confirm that yet. Was this a part made by General Motors when they owned Lotus or maybe a bought in part?
Any help/guidance would be aprreciated.
Thanks
Nigel

Most everyone just goes to an auto glass company and has them cut a new piece to fit the original holder. I had offered to get some replacement mirror glass made by a reputable company in the US but not enough people were interested.
Replacement Door Mirrors Does anyone want any?

Thanks for your reply. Yes I have tried most of the normal sources but no luck now it is an obsolete part. I have done a repair for the time being, it's the plastic lugs on the back of the mirror which have given trouble.
I will keep looking as I would like to find an alternative.

I have a new Convex Mirror with "sled" that you can buy and get the glass replaced...
It is just the sled and glass, no pins or "cross" but I have a few of those as well, if you need them.
I broke up a few, new passenger side mirror assemblies to get the drive motors and harnesses and have a few of the other bits still in stock.
Send me an email (link under my ID) if you are interested and I will try to figure out a price for what you need.
I am in the US, so shipping won't be as quick or cheap as from someone in the UK.

Yes, I got the email. You said you would be trying to make up a mirror that works.
I replied with the links to get new pins made at Shapeways.

From what everyone has said, the sled on the back of the glass is no longer available, but I presume that 3D printing would be quite straightforward. The sled could then be stuck on the back of the mirror. My sled is broken, but the glass and heater are fine.
