Windshield in the US? Anyone successful w/ cross reference?

ElanBRG - I'm in the process of replacing my windscreen of my Federal M100. How did you know that you needed the green tint windscreen vs the clear windscreen? If mine are green, it's a very subtle shade.

Windscreens and ancillary parts are available from https://www.sjsportscars.com/. I just ordered a set. One warning, thought - crating and shipping cost more than the glass and plastic parts.

Windscreens only are available from https://www.pilkington.com/en-gb/uk/aut ... dels/lotus. The shipping was cheaper (they use cardboard instead of wood) but the glass was more expensive and they can't provide the ancillary parts.

Finally, be sure to order the green-tint windscreen glass. It was stock on the Federal M100.

To follow-up on my own recent searches here in the US, I could never get ahold of any Pilkington person based in the states to see if they had any in stock to get to a local glass shop, and the big brand glass shops that could work with Pilkington direct wouldn't work with me because of the age of the car, so it was a catch 22.
In addition to SJ being a great source, for the glass, reaching out to classics@pilkington.com got me a quote in less than a day. From them it sounded like they didn't have any stock, but they make it to order and ship directly to you.
Also, Ricky Evans Motorsport gave a prompt quote too via sales@heatedwindscreen.com. They might have one in stock, but they also make to order and ship.
Also, I think Brit-car-nut may have one in stock over in NC with the ancillary bits too.
Finally, for more locally sourced ancillary bits, it sounds like Dave Bean has some in stock too.
