The door surround seals are simple to recreate...until you get to the part above the door latch!, at that point there are 2 versions, one that has a bit cut out on the door card and the other without, but creating that shape is very difficult regardless of type, it doesnt help that it's a very poor design due to it 'sliding' into the base of the B post seal as the door closes and both of them wearing against each other, which ultimately ends up with you know what.
You can fabricate something reasonable from FTO door seals but it's far from the perfect solution, you need to be a hands on type and able to work it out as you go. Even if you managed to do a pair the chances of them fitting straight on another Elan would be slim, any I've done had to be tailored to the car and when put up against another they were out, so for a company to make them and be right for all M100's would be a hefty challenge, they most likely would use modern EPDM and that doesn't take to being rubbed against as it would ultimately be once fitted, if anyone did make them commercially and they were right I would be mighty impressed. I might even buy a set.
