the wiper blade on the drivers side of my car seems to move about 2 inches on it's arc when the wipers are not on, this has lead to the blade coming of the edge of the screen when the wipers are on, is it possible to get to the wiper mech below the screen????
thanks
Nick

Nick
As a workaround, you could always disconnect the arm on the spigot (lift the arm cover on its hinge and undo 1 x 17mm? nut) and reattach it at a lower position. I did this about 2.5 years ago and they're still OK.

I hear what you say Nick...it's a five minute job though and might be worth giving a go. The wiper mechanisms are notoriously difficult to work on in situ.

Nick
I might be totally wrong here, but I seem to recall the spigot being a reverse thread...can anyone confirm or deny this?
