Well, I rolled the driver's side window down just now. **THUNK** Hmm, that didn't sound good. **looks down**. Oh, that's bad. Looks like the butterfly has had its wings clipped. Couldn't they have figured something better than nylon to use?!
Well, it had to happen some time. So far, shift cables and windows. Looks like I only have the headlight motors and CAS to go before I'm a battle hardened veteran! I love this car! Can't wait!

Ouch, that *Thunk* is never nice. Hope it is just the butterfly, check the end of the center slider (feel with your fingers through the hatch, and make sure the pillar that the window is attached to is in good shap, as the butterfly clips on...

...oh, and I just so happen to have a right side center slider and butterfly sat in my basement (I bought both sides when I got my driver's side done) send me a PM if you need it, but I'm out of town til the weekend.

Did I read somewhere that someone had fabricated a replacement out of metal (aluminium?). Does anyone know whether these are generally available, as I'm having problems with my window and am sure its only a matter of time...
