B100B0536F replacement

OK. This part (Slider mounting boss, front upper) failed on the Palacio Elan. This is the third Elan I've had where this happened.
Not sure who engineered it, I've always been baffled how 5 turns of an M4 screw into nylon was ever going to stand the window being forced against the A post seal.
Anyway, they ARE available - I've bought them in the past.
This time, I baulked against the £4.95 P&P

So, I bought a 30mm long CSK head M4 and a low profile M4 locking nut from accu.co.uk

Then I screwed the boss to the glass and trial fitted the slider block. Had to trim 5mm off the set screw. Tightened the locking nut with some angled pliers.

Re-installed window and all good.

Note : could have used 25mm set screw.
