Door glass powering too low

I bought the car with the passenger window regulator already removed and a piece of 2x2 holding the glass up, door has now been rebuilt including new seals along with a reconditioned regulator and everything is working fine except that the lower slider block on the rearmost window guide has about 60% of itself hanging out of the guide when the window is in the lowest position. On one occasion it actually became wedged and prevented the window going up.
Everything is correct and of the right hand including the regulator slider. The glass goes up enough and comes to a stop on the two bobbins, but as you know, there is no bottom stop other than the base of the central regulator channel.
I wondered if anyone else has ever had the same problem, although I can see no mention of it on the forum, also if anyone currently has their door opened up and could tell me if their rearmost slider hangs out the bottom of the guide channel and lastly if anyone has a rear guide laying around would it be possible to give me the overall length, just in case someone has cut an inch off the bottom of mine for some unknown reason.
I could fit an alloy or nylon block to the bottom of the centre guide which would act as a stop for the regulator slider, but would prefer to get to the reason why this is happening.
I plan to strip the other door down the week after next which should give me a better idea of things, but just thought I would put it out there.

I overhauled both my windows last winter, to the extent of having the glass and all the channels out of each door. The lower rear slider block definitely does NOT overhang the end of the channel in its lowest position.

I’ve just been out to the garage and measured my spare slider blocks: 36.7mm high and 17.4mm wide.

I suspect your window glass is out of alignment in the channels. I would recheck that all the sliders, bobbins etc are in the right places with the right dimensions (one of the bobbins is a different length IIRC).

Well, I ended up leaving the nearside window alone and set about rebuilding the drivers side window, this side had different problems, mainly that the steel bracket that glues to the glass had a broken stud. Anyway, all rebuilt now with new doorseals and speakers. The drivers door was fine regarding how low the window went and no problems with exposed sliders.
I overcame the nearside window problem by fixing some closed cell foam blocks to act as a stop on the downward stroke. It seems that this problem was unique to my car, but it may help someone else in the future.
