Where the f*ck can I find the connector in the car?

I did some searches on the forum and the ElanScan site but I can't find it.
The only connector I've found was one below my dashboard but it wont fit the connector onto my USB cable. :oops:

The socket which is fixed is a dummy for storing the ALDL out of the way when not in use. This should be behind your glovebox.
