Some of the exhausts with circular and oval pipes whistled loudly when approaching maximum revs.

On a good note....I got the last PICO that pete had in stock at PNM.
300 smackers fully fitted by his good self!!
He was shocked to hear about PICO and mentioned that they are just accross the way from him.....we took a look....all locked up I am afraid!!
Did people know that they supplied OEM exhausts to lotus for years!!!? and that they are an old company!

It's a bit far I know but you could always get an exhaust custom built to your own specifications from C and C in Glasgow if you can't get your hands on the remaining PECO's.
http://www.stainlessexhausts.com/index.htm
Paisley Stevo has one on his car as does Dalkeith Ronnie. Big Erch also has the one from Big Al's/Mike I's crashed S2.
They look good and make a great racket in the mountains and glens of Scotland

I have finally received a response from the Administrator
"The business, assets and goodwill of A&I Peco Acoustics Ltd (Peco) are under offer from a number of competing bidders and consequently the individual assets will not be sold seperately. Your details will however be passed onto the successful bidder, who may wish to dispose of the quantity of low volume systems."
Unfortunately, we cannot progress this opportunity further until the sale is agreed. Watch this space for the "Son of Peco"

"Sincere apologies for the delayed reply.
After an unscheduled 'break', Peco will be back in full production again from August 11th. If you are still intersted in an Elan system, we will be able to supply at the end of that week.
Kind regards
Jerry Darlington."

For your information
After a prolonged 'holiday' period, Peco will be manufacturing again from August 11th. New contact info will appear at www.peco.co.uk from that date.

I wouldn't get too excited, sounds like they've been bought up, so expect any discounts to vanish and the prices to go up.

Maybe so but at least the exhausts will be available again, which has to be good.

Good to have the exhausts available, but let's wait and see what the price is.
Also worth enquiring if the lifetime guarantee is also carried forward (I think it should be if Peco is still trading).
