I may have one of those brackets, I'll have a search if you could use it!

Ooh. Oooh. Oooooh. Assuming they're not fitted to your cars and you're not going to use them, any chance of negotiating a deal? I don't know how long the temporary lash up is going to last. :D

Looks like above (cos it is  ), came off my old exhaust when I went stainless last year - assuming that the diameter of the box is standard then it's yours gratis, let me know if it'll do and when and I'll drop it up to you.

Arrgh. Mine is (supposed to be) wrapped around a Peco back box which is...... LARGE so it probably won't fit. Thanks for the offer Pete.

You're obviously a bit smaller than the rest of us

Mine's 23" as well.......

......it's a bosal part 251-008 (which is designed for a LDV apparrently!)

Brand new, and yours if you want it...

A quick look on fleabay shows allsorts availlable like this - usually found on Citroens by the looks of it - a visit to a quick-fit type place will probably sort you out.....

...or yours should be weldable, looking at the picture you posted :?

:-D

I was actually planning on turning the hanger round 180° as the nut and bold tend to bash the side of the boot (hence the bump stop with red paint on it in my first picture) whereas there is a huge void behind the bumper wheelarch on the other side. At the moment, I'll try Cybox but long term I plan on getting a new band welded to the existing bracket. In the meantime, if the temporary wire snaps, I have some thicker wire on standby!

Wel, I rang Cybrand (who are not the phoenix of Peco, rather they bought their stock and equipment) and they are sending me out a new bracket FOC. Full marks to them (aka Cybox on eBay) for not quibbling about it.
