Dashboard Vent Removal

Postby Gareth » Mon 06.02.2012, 18:04

Help!

Dropped a vital screw into the left hand side heater/cooler vent (not the ones at the base of the windscreen, the ones with the "control wheels")

How are these removed?

The small bottom vent will leaver out with a screwdriver at the side, this will reveal a couple of screws which can be accessed by inserting a long screw driver through the top grill, undo the screws and then remove the vent. It'll be inserted at the rear into a large air pipe but should slip out easy enough, if it's the nr side then can be reached by drping the glove box and reaching through the gap, the off side is trickier!
