Hard Start

Postby lotusrepair » Sat 02.07.2016, 21:08

My car is suffering from hard starting when it sits overnight or longer. I let the fuel pump run for its few seconds and then try to start. It works most of the time. In the manual under hard starts it lists possible having a fuel pump check valve problem. Since we had the tank replaced I suspect something happened. So where is this check vale? Is it part of the pump and the pump has to be replaced? I did not see it on the parts listing or in the diagram.

thanks
Chris

Bump!

I'd say it was the pump, I once had similiar issues.
