Glovebox hinges repair

Hello,
I recently had one glovebox hinge broken, and i noticed that the second one was going the same way ... surprising that those two small plastic lips did the job more than 20 years.

I made a repair using a standard 20 x 20 mm aluminium corner, and a pair of m3 bolts/ nylstop nuts. I took this opportunity to fix the plastic box on its coated foam covering, as it was loose .
I used grey Araldite for this job.

Could this be useful to someone else, i have sketched the dimensions of the corners on the attached picture.

Note that there are two 3.5 mm holes in the alu corner : one is for the m3 screw, the other one is simply filled in with whatever stiff + grey araldite, it is just to avoid the corner turning around the m3 bold axis.

Note that the ' round shaping ' of the corner is not necessary, it looks nice ... but no one will never see it.

The bolts heads are not visible, they are under the box, but I carefully smoothed them in case of a contact with my wife’s legs.
