Hello, can anyone tell me if the glove box lid on my S2 would have had a lock? As mine has no lock;also it won't stay closed-must be a problem with the catch! Any suggestions as to whether the catch problem is a common fault with the glove box?

Yes, it came with a lock and handle that as far as I can see would have been the same as either a Carlton / Senator (common to the dash switchgear, interior door lock pulls etc) or Mk3 Cavalier. I can take a photo of mine if it would help you, as my glovebox itself is broken and was screwed into place.
