Cassette storage ashtray replacement

Inspired by the dash of the M200 I have seen recently at the Lotus Club Holland Winter Fair, I am now eager to have a cassette storage box in my Elan.

Did anyone else do a search for the cassette storage compartment that replaces the ashtray in the center console? The ashtray appears to be standard Vauxhall Astra mkII, for RHD. I would need a LHD Opel Kadett-E version. I reckon, the M200 cassette storage box might very well be an existing accessory for those models, rather than a one-off concept car item. Does anybody know who could have been the manufacturer or where such an item would still be obtainable? I had no luck on Google so far..

I don't even have CD players in two of my cars let alone cassettes.

I find the ashtray quite useful for storing SD cards though.

Have a look at this site, it lists a lot of options for the Kadett E as well as covering most other Opels.

IIRC, the item Geoff posted above can be made into a smaller unit as the individual tape holders slide together...............but I might be wrong on 'this' particular unit?
