Hi all,
I've been thinking about dying my carpets black to make them look a bit fresher. Anyone tried? It should be possible if they are wool or Nylon. Anyone know what material they are?

Hi Joss,
Yes i have recoloured my carpets and door card fabric. I searched the internet and ebay and found a spray on colourant in aerosol cans. I used two cans , one for each side and my carpets were the original grey . I coloured them BR Green and they have covered lovely and it took only a morning to do. It dries within 20 minutes. The cost if i remember rightly was around £20. If you cant find anything on ebay, give me another shout on here and I`ll go through my bank statement and look for the company i paid and get back to you. I took the seats out and masked off all the plastic bodywork around the sills, centre console etc, but it has come up a treat and looks much better than the dull grey original colour.
