Ive got a norfolk mustard yellow elan and am going to get the interior retrimmed....the current interior really suits what with its matching yellow stripe......the thing is that I dont know wether to get it done again the same or to change it.....if I change it what are the suggestions?.....dont fancy black leather as it get a bit hot in the summer......has anyone with a yellow car got an pick of their 'revised' interiors???.....
what colours?....quite fabny cream but again not really with a yello car!!....
get the feeling that grey with yellow beading/seam/edging (what ever its called) will probably be the final choice but would love some ideas and/or pics
cheers

My thoughts for what they are worth. Have a think about how much you want to retrim, if it's leather you can just about have any colour or combination of colours you like, all down to your preference. Carpets may well be a bit more restricted, particuloarly if you want ready made fitted carpet, if you can (or know someone who can) make fitted carpets from a roll then the choice is wider. The final option that involves the most work is anything that is currently grey or black plastic. Very few retrims I have seen have changed this, although it has been done (Stevieshag comes to mind). If you dont do this then you need to match both the yellow of the car and the grey that will remain. Retrim Seats alone, relatively straightforward, seats and carpet, more complex and costly, seats, carpet and recolour grey plastic, expensive, complex and difficult to do well.

As far as colours go, very much personal choice but I've always thought that dark blue looks good with yellow.

Green & yellow, lotus colours anyway !, yellow car, yellow carpets, green leather seats with yellow piping, like my old white car, would look superb !
