Is it easy to take the leather door bags off or will i have to take the whole door card off. The old one's are a bit tatty and i want them replacing cheers holty!

The bad news is that you will have to get the door panel off or at least unscrew them, to get to where the elastic top of the pockets are secured. The easy bit is undoing the bottom of the pockets - unscrew the screws that hold down a plastic clamping strip around the inside of the pocket at the bottom. If you are re colouring them, then just undoing the bottom might be sufficient, indeed if you need to at all.

I know on mine, the screws that go through the plastic pieces have a small metal piece on the inside of the doorcard, so when you unscrew them the metal strips fall down inside the doorcard, requiring the removal of the doorcard to put them back. Hope that makes sense ?

Didn't know about that bit - after all I have never had to get them off.

Access to behind the doorcard is pretty much a necessity then.

Well it is on mine Phil, i only found out when i took my old ones off couple of weeks ago & heard the jingling as the little tabs all fell to the bottom of the doorcard & one or two actually fell out, & i realised what i had done ! :lol:

Make sure you have your spare orange clips for the locks ready before removing the doorcard. I've got pretty good at the removal and refit, but still have half a dozen orange clips on hand just in case!

And remember the two golden rules, "Patience", and no matter how tempting it may be "Do not pry anything with a screwdriver". :roll:

I'll go back to mucking around with my possible PAS fluid leak now

You may get away without having to replace the red clips, as if you are only doing the pockets, you may have enough access without totally removing the doorcard - I replaced my door speakers without fully removing the doorcard, I just undid everything apart from the clip on the lock button and was able to ease the casing out enough.

Gonna have a go at the weekend, cause i want this little job out of the way. Everytime i do one job another start's. Now i've got boost creep. But that's another thread altogether. :roll:
