it will probably come with a rubber/plastic adapter.......to suit the nob and the gear stick itself

Picking the car up from sinclaires tomorrow morning... retrim looks the dogs apparently, dump valve and some other stuff so excited cant remember the job list that theyve done.... anyway i need a job to do meself on sunday morning ... complete numpty meslef so probably make a mess of the gearknob.

I'm not keen on this "fits all" type fitting. It has a wee grub nut to tighten it, which will probably stay tight for a few days then you'll have a spinning knob.

I bought a lurvely good quality metal knob for a civic off ebay and cut a slightly larger thread in it. You've got masses of choice if you're prepared to do it this way, and it'll be way cheaper.
I'm not bothered about the hot knobbage in the summer.

if it doesnt work i'll probably go to middleton engineering, whove made up some stuff for me in the past, but the existing knob is a bit poooh if truth be told so this is ok solution for time being

The chrome one I got last year is sitting in the spares box in my garage. Hot hand in the summer, cold in the winter. Looked great, but not worth the discomfort.

In Atlanta that was important, In Florida it makes no difference. I like leather though cuz it's softer.

120 here mid summer. I've had metal knobs for the last three years and never considered it a problem.
