Sorry, M’lud!

I was merely requoting what the witness said in the first instance. There was no attempt to misled or misrepresent the witness or indeed the Part 25 expert. I was aware of what was latterly said from across the pond. ;-)

However, the question of bondage, or otherwise, perhaps needs to be considered on an alternate forum as it is clear that there shouldn't be any bondage at all in this instance :shock:

I have found these M5 nut plates, they are a bit smaller than the regular tapping plates, but it's given me an idea.

I have found a nice solution.....

Little 3d printed shim to spread the load.

Then a 3d printed bobbin so the sizes all match

This utilises the off the shelf nutplates that are a good chunk cheaper than the tapping plates

Total thickness of the nutplate & shim is 2,25mm
