Oatmeal pinstriping on F1 car's Nige please. Actually i did notice they have made a sort of JPS Elise, with black & gold seats !

The +2 picture brings back happy memories of being single at Uni before marriage and commitments forced me to sell her and buy a house.Definately the best colour combination for the +2.

hmm.. I've never been a fan of brightly coloured seats.. they look tatty far too quickly, unless you hardly ever drive the motor and keep it as new. I reckon black leather with gold stitching/logo or something...

Welcome to the forum! Agree with your assessment. How about yellow backrests with yellow inserts. If you don't have a Jehri-curl or aren't French, you don't have to worry about soiled headrests.

haha! yeah - basically so long as the seat bit isn't a bright colour it'll be ok... and my sticky mouse is clearly due to faulty craftmanship!!

I'm having my seats re-trimmed very soon at lotus.
I'm sticking to the original colour of magnolia but adding red piping and logo.Magnolia does show the dirt more easily but it does't get so hot if we get a good summer.

I'm hoping to take these seats out today.It looks like 4 bolts holding the runners or is there more to it ?

Not really, but, the spacers (under the runners) are different lengths so note their position on removal and the inner-most bolts have semi captive (may have been made more captive on the S2) nuts be sure not to move/lose them before replacing the seats.
Outboard nuts are under the car body and can need plentiful applications of WD-40 prior to removal.

I think the gold on the seats above looks to yellow to be honest, it'd me much nicer in oatmeal.

Thought about this long & hard now. Oatmeal looks the business in the +2, however its not what i want, but i take on board about the seats looking tatty in next to no time, so i think i'll ask the girls in lotus retrim department if they can do gold piping & just have black seats, but what about the doorcards ?. There's 3 bits to be done, the bottom panel where the carpet normally is, the pocket with the elastic in & the top panel. My thoughts are to have bottom panel in gold alacantra, pocket & top panel in black leather, with gold piping on edge's, possibly with JPS emblem in centre of top panel. Also the handbrake & gear-lever gaiter ?, black with gold piping as well ?, i'm really struggling with this & i want it right as its not going to be cheap, so your comments please !
