Thanks for the website ansd just ordred one at £20

Cheers for all the help - now just have to make a list of everything that needs doing to it before I dare take it to a meet :?

Well the list just got longer after It was left under the rain today :?
Looks like my Window seals are buggered to say the least.

No , No No.....you don't understand ..this is a lotus you have here..the quirks are the intersting thing about these cars.

Your Elan probably leaked in from new...it's just got worse as it's aged....like fine wine LOL

they always leak in to a lesser or greater degree.you can minimise it... that's about it.

I recomend a PLASTIC BAG FOR THE THIGH!

or the real cure to stop it raining in is to drive it when it's not raining.

Joking asside..the problem can be caused by several things often working in tandem!

The seal running accross the top windscreen, the a-piller seal, the seal above the window..these may be in back knick or the hood may not be positioned correctly.

Come to the meets anyway...clog norlog any of them...they are a friendly bunch....
