Colin, if you ring lockwood they should be able to do just the 3 small dials, can't remember who i dealt with, ( it will be in the original thread ), think his name was Kendrew or similar, if i get chance i'll have a look .

Em, my dials appear to have 7200 marked in solid red & they came from the group buy, & they have Lockwood written on them, they may of changed them, also on the odd occasion i drive on the limit, the rev limiter is my indicator.

Seems to me that the Lockwood dials start the redline at about 6800 rpm then put a red block inbetween the 7k and 8k to indicate that its all bad news in that range? That'd be consistant with the std. Calibra engine redline. Don't forget, these are Elan dial faces. They're Vauxhall dial faces that happen to look a lot like ours. Thus Phil's comment about the RPM dial face not reading accurately.

The MM dials start the redline right at 7200 rpm and exactly match the notches on the original dial face. So, they're as accurate as the originals. You do have to pull the needles to get the faces on. The only ones that are a real pain are the tach and speedo as the gas and temp only go on one way.



Not that it matters all that much. You buy what you like and if the tach's off by a bit then you can get used to it if you want to. Its all personal preference.
