I have seen this wheel on the car, a metallic green S2. I think it has just been recovered in red, but is missing the middle T-piece cover in that picture.

Anyone know how much it is to have a steering wheel recovered as I was thinking of have my spare S2 wheel done in dark blue?

Gazza, i had my SE wheel done by lotus, now although they did an excellent job, it was bloody expensive, because it had to be all hand stitched. Think it was about £200.

Cheers for the picture and price, it does seem alot of money but you have had more leather and work done on it than I will need.

Apparently coming into the christmas period, blue cows are cheaper than green as well :wink:

The petrol gauge is the only thing that is slightly obscured. As for me so "the boyz" can judge what it would be like. I'm 5' 7" but I also changed the seats in the car, so that may be a factor as well. I did retain the stock seat spacers though.

What are the thoughts on the Raid Airbag wheels? I put one in my Esprit and love it. I was thinking of putting on in my Elan as well. Any thoughts or opinions on them in the Elan?

Yeah, someone else spotted that PSSCL probably stands for Peter Smith Sports Cars Limited, who are just outside Derby.

Lemieux's M100 is now owned by Rogers Schupp. Next time I see him, I'll post up a pic of the Raid Daytona. Keep in mind that the wheel's expensive at $800 + fitment collar. You'll get some of it back if you sell the M100 wheel. Not sure how much you'll get for it though.

I have one of the Raid wheels in my Esprit. They can be viewed at the TM Tuning web site. I bought my wheel during a group buy and spent $500 or so (+ the adapter). My buddy here in Orlando had the Hub adapters manufactured for the swap. He still has a few of the adapter kits.

I'm trying to find the right hub adapter to put on a Federal M100. I understand the "right" one is the Isuzu adapter part number 4603. However, I can't seem to find that one. I'm guessing that this part is from a Chevy/Pontiac of similar vintage in which case part number 2401 would be suitable. Question is - has anyone ever tried this on a Federal car? I'm really trying to find the right hub or a place to get the 4603 but I can't seem to find it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, I have that adaptor in my car (a US model). It is from a Isuzu/Geo Storm. If it is not available, you may want to see if someone will send you the 2401 adaptor and allow a return if it doesn't work (sometimes these places get you for a "return charge"). I've heard that along with the Esprit, the Pontiac Firebird had a similar, if not the same wheel. Worth a try I guess. You can see my write-up of the Momo install at:

The Firebird does have the same wheel. Not sure if all the F-body types had them (i.e. Camero), but it's possible.
