A couple things I been wanting to do.

1) Possibly replacing the carpet. I not sure if there are OEM carpet molds left, but I'm going to go with no, but is there a universal carpet that you can by and just lay of or section off, etc...maybe rather than carpet, maybe matting?

2) Anyone re-leather their seats or have done the route of Katskins?

Bump. Mainly interested in seat restoration.

I have a good idea for the carpet/matting.

kmckmc had a good source of new seat covers in leather or othe materials.....
can remember what section tho.....

The black ones with red centres were done for me (and i think ekapol had a set aswell) - i like them!

I went for the black in higher grade nappa leather, piping in red leather (plastic was a cheaper option), both door cards, handbrake and gearstick gaiter in red, and a piece of red leather to cover the steering wheel centre (Elise wheel).

Can't remember the total cost, but i think it was just under £500 with shipping - took a day to fit them all, but others have let a pro do it for about £100, which is probably money well spent unless you're either well skilled, very patient, or skint (not too hard, but very fiddly and takes a bit of thinking about how to get it to fit well - tip - use cable ties, not metal hog rings on the seat backs!!)

The picture makes it look a bit pink, but it isn't when you see it in the flesh - and available in any colour combo you want.

he also did door cards , hand brake gaitor , in fact he was an absolute wizzard with all things trim.
had a really tidy dark blue s2 if i remember ..

Yeah, that is nice and what I had in mind. I actually want to do something close to tan or saddle or something that looks good with a red car. Any ideas?
