glove compartment door broken

sigh, one of the hinges is broken. anybody know of a fix?

If you could post a picture it would be helpful.

It sounds as if it might be different to the UK version.

Cheap POS hinges (must have been GM). I fixed mine with a boatload of epoxy (I think). It was a while back. I just remember it took a lot and a couple of tries before it really held up well enough.

was yours broken right at the base like mine? I cant see it working but wouldnt mind a pic

Before I owned my Elan, one of mine was repaired in the same way. Also at the base. It's still going strong.

So basically take epoxy and cover the base in a pile of it, then cover the metal bit with a huge hit of epoxy (maybe drill a hole and push some throughso it "hooks" a bit) and then join the pieces together? I thought the epoxy on the hinge part would come off for sure.
