Recaro seat fitment?

I have the chance of a set of Recaro seats to replace my duff originals. Has anyone got any experience in fitting these to an Elan? Do Recaro do a specific fitting kit? - I haven't had any luck researching this on tinternet. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Where did the seats come from? I don't think all Recaros are the same.
I have some Mk1 Astra GTE Recaros & some useful Elan spares I can compare

The seats came from a Mk2 Golf. At the moment they aren't mounted to any base unit, just the seats themselves. It's looking like I'll have to knock up some kind of subframe myself.
