Fitting a Personal/Nardi steering wheel

Ive just bought a Personal/Nardi steering wheel for the Elan, Will i need to buy a hub to fit the wheel?
Looking at some of the previous posts inc replies to mine on fitting a momo (change of plan) am i right in thinking the S2 uses a Nardi wheel? i just want to gauge whats what before i get somone to take the standard wheel off only to find i need to get some additional parts to fit.

When I changed my steering wheel on my previous Elan to one off an Elise,It was a massive job trying to take the original one off .I borrowed a puller from work and there was so much pressure on it I thought I was going to rip the steering column off before it cracked and released .It was very very tight ,thats why I haven bothered to change the wheel on my current Elan ,I hope you have an easier job than I did trying to get it off

I've got a mono corse wheel on mine with an adaptor plate, I've also got a quick release adaptor that fits the standard hub and the mono but I found it made the wheel a little to close to me. I think the bolt holes for momo and nardi are the same so if you want the quick release to try then let me know

I found out the Nardi/personal wheels will fit the standard elan boss which is Nardi, the only thing which isnt right, the standard wheel covers the steel boss, so ime left without a cover over the colapsable steel boss, if that makes sense?

I fitted a Personal Fittipaldi wheel to my original 'Nardi' hub, and found the same problem as you. I cut about 2 inches from the narrow end of a new outer CV driveshaft boot and it stretched ovee the boss perfectly!
