Lotus Elan m100 Heater control Rod.

Has anybody ever had to attach the heater rod from the heater control to the heater?
It says in the computerized workshop manual to put it in the clip and close it.
Well I cannot even see where it needs to go can anybody help me with this please?

Hi and welcome.
Getting that control rod back on can be an absolute pain.
I did it by getting my head right under the glove box and clipping it into the control first and then the pivot under the heater matrix.
Of course that is with a UK spec RHD car. It might help to put your location in your profile, then we'll be better able to direct you as we can guess where the steering wheel is! You may even find someone local can help.

Hi thanks for the reply.
It is a right hand drive car I am in Ilkeston Derbys if your local I would welcome some help or guidance.
I am probably going wrong as I am searching for the pivot from the drivers side of the vehicle and not as you say from the glove box side.
I will prersist.
