Door knob - small rectangular red plastic

Hello, I have a quick question regarding the door knobs:

My Elan has both red rectangular plastic inserts located at the popping door handle at the window broken. Its not a big deal at all, but it simply looks bad.
My question is the following: in order to replace them, can I just simply pry them out and replace the red plastic with new pieces or is it much more complex and I need to disassemble the entire door panel?

Ed, usually removal is first thing and replacement is last so all you have to do is get the old out and insert the new. Easiest way to remove the old is screw a small selftap screw in and pull the screw.
