Hi all,
I am looking for the fabric portion of the half leather seats to buy.
Did anyone find any proper replacement (which is the same as the factory installed one) or anyone looking to get rid of the fabric parts and switching to full leather, that i can buy ?
Thanks

Sinan,
Somewhere I have my old seat covers which were taken apart by the trimmers to use as patterns to construct my new (18 years ago) leather seats. They are fabric and leather and have been sat on for about 35,000 miles. If they would be of any use to you in their “taken apart” state I’ll try to find them.
You can have them for nothing (assuming postage to Turkey isn’t ridiculously expensive).

Dear John,
Thank you thats really great! I can also give you a UK address, I travel here every now and often..
I would like to keep the car as stock as possible and have ripped parts on the fabric section, but as its a multicolor fabric its difficult to find the same..
Please let me know or pm me if you can ever find them..
Regards
Sinan

Sinan,
Well, the good news is that I found my old seat covers. I'm afraid that the bad news is that the trimmer seems to have used his scissors a little more than I thought.
I have one complete seat back and one seat base that has unfortunately been cut in half. The other seat cover has been taken apart and unfortunately the fabric panels have been cut up into smaller pieces to act as templates for the new leather seats. The fabric is in very good condition (apart from having been cut into small pieces).
Have a look at the attached photos to see if there is anything that might be of use to you. You are welcome to have whatever you want.

Hoi! Sinan! You awake?
My wife wants me to clear the carpet in the upstairs room.

Hı John.. I am extremely sorry that I missed to reply your email...
I can definitely use the back side... Unfortunately the part that is cut into pieces is very difficult to be used..
My drivers seat is not that bad, but the side seat in a very bad position..
If you don't mind.. can I pm you the address in the UK to post. .?
If I cannot manage to use them or if somebody else reply to my email I can send them to you whenever you message me.
I think this will definitely save one seat for me...(at least the back part..)
Really appreciate all the effort!! Thank you

Sinan,
No worries

.
Please send me your address (in UK preferably) by PM and I will post the things to you.
Do you want the leather as well?
I will send all of the cloth material because you might be able to use it for patches, or a clever seamstress might be able to sew the pieces together to make a good seat.

Sinan,
I have posted a small package to your address in Leeds. It contains one full seat cover and the cut-up fabric from the other one (with some fake leather bits missing).
Be a bit careful when you open it, as I discovered when packing it up that some of the plastic foam backing to the material has disintegrated into dust over the last 27 years.
The cloth fabric is fine, but it is part of a 3-layer construction sewn together at the edges with cloth on the outside, white tough stretchy material on the inside, and a thin black foam rubber in the middle. This black foam is now dust.
I hope that you can make use of the cloth. There is certainly enough to do one seat, and some cloth suitable for use as patches.
Maybe somebody else has another cloth seat cover that has not been cut up by the trimmer, and can help you with another seat.
