Dash switch relocation

[*]Doing a lot of work on the elan this Easter weekend. I'll grab some photos when done. I had an idea though. The 2 blank switches to the left of the wheel, will the hazard and fog wires reach there if I was to relocate them? This then frees up the 3 lower switches for something else. I recon I can take a single DIN pocket and trim it down to fit in there. But for now, as I'm out with the family and can't check, does anyone know if the wiring will reach over?
