When changing compounds it is recomendid that the faces of the discs are scuffed up with glass or emery paper because the old material has left a signature on the disc face

Here you go Ronnie - I've bought the topic back up to the top so you can see what we've said about the fantastic Pagid RS4-2 blue pads.

I'm sure Performance Braking will sort you out

If they've run out of stock, I still have a brand new set which I never fitted as Alan & Brian hatched their Wilwood plans just as I bought the Pagids.

I've now got the Wilwoods fitted and am very happy with them, so the Pagids are now surplus to requirements.

John,

Shame Ronnie in Dalkeith, Edinburgh didn't see this before he purchased a set from Performance Pads today because he would have gone for them.

If I can persuade any other Jocks I'll give you a shout

US Pagid's

This sounds good, after putting braided hoses on drilling the stock rotors painting the calipers, and noe can't stop the car. Before I try to do the Willwood I can try this. Has anybody in the States done it? or do I have to buy these in the UK?

Peter,
The Pagids are expensive (last I heard was £105 + postage). At the current exchange rate, and including postage to the USA, I reckon that would be almost $250 for a set of pads.

That strikes me as being a bit much.

Also

Please remember that (whilst not tested against the Pagids) EBC now do a Redstuff ceramic which is much cheaper.
