What configuration did you have the car in? (Driver, passenger, fuel load, hood up or down etc)

Looking at the figures I'd say you have a couple of weight saving mods (even if unintentional), no driver, half a tank of gas...

Makes me wonder how the Fed Élan weighs in, and also their weight distribution. I've always thought slightly heavier, but a better weight distribution... But it's only my guess..

If my assumptions are correct... you've got the front weight distribution better than Lotus had, but I know nothing about setting a car up... And they're the daddies.

Interesting .. the OP didn't give units so I guess was in kg and my phone ap converts her figures to

Front 761 lbs 763 lbs

Rear 358 lbs 359 lbs

Totals 2276 lbs ....

(haven't a clue what "Gross 510.5 -- 49.4%" means..)

Having just fitted a blue hood I'd say they are not very heavy and the main weight is at the rear between the b pillars so hood up or down won't change f/r ratio much, if at all. Fuel in the tank probably much more significant.

Leave me alone, I think I know what I'm doing.
