Does anyone know were i can get 2 rear brake caliper service seal kits A100J6072S.

It will depend on how much you want to spend, and how quickly you need them......

..... SJ Sportscars list them under part number SJ100J0022 at £15.95 each + P&P + VAT (2 required if both callipers need doing).....

..... but for a much more acceptable price of £4.32 they are available from rock auto - but will be posted from USA (£9.13 P&P) - hence £17.77 for 2....

.... the part number you need is Wagner #F117251- if you use the drill-down menu and look under Pontiac - 1991 - Grand Prix - 3.1L V6 - Brake/Wheel hub - Calliper Repair Kit (or just search on the part number!).

There are other makes listed, and I'm sure they could be found cheaper at other suppliers, but they are the same callipers as Lotus fitted.

It normally takes 5 or 6 working days for a Rock Auto order to arrive - but at less than half the price, it's your choice!

(if it was me, I'd add in a CARLSON Part # H5587 to the order (rubber seals for sliders, and brake pad to piston metal clips) - under £3 for both callipers, and make the re-build a lot tidier!

but then you may want to get a set of pads as well (much larger choice in USA than UK - prices from about £4 a set!).... and on, and on, and on......

PS Excellent info Dave - think I'll order some from RockAuto myself. There always seem to be problems with the rear calipers (and the front !!) every couple of years

Dave - just re-reading the info you posted again....

Can you confirm that 1 set of the Carlson rubber seals will do both rear calipers ? or do I need to order 2 of H5587 to do both of them ?

Firstly I appologise for not even noticing what thread topic it was in - I never looked

I can only go on the info on the RA website - and it shows enough parts in the picture to do both callipers (ie, 8 rubber boots and 2 pad clips)

(i bought a set from Muley when he was having his garage clear-out, so it all just arrived in a single box )

Hi folks, thread resurrection here - I did have a look ut couldn't find my answer.

Do rock auto no longer supply the Wagner #F117251 rear caliper seal kit, or am I not looking at it properly?

Is SJ now the best place to go if RA aren't able to supply?

Like everything else, the part number has changed. The current number is now WK2737 and RA has it listed for $10.54 per side.

It fits several US model cars, but the best reference (in the US anyway) is Pontiac GRAND PRIX 1988-1993 Rear Brake

The current picture only shows enough parts to do one side, so you will need 2 kits.

Also from RA, for the same car, you could order CENTRIC 14362027 and they are priced at $5.80 per side

Then there is CARLSON 41125 (only 8 remaining) for $8.01 per side

or ACDELCO 18H220 {#18031694} Professional at $10.78 per side

H5587 is just the mounting hardware kit. It seems to have the slider boots and brake pad retainers only.

Caliper repair kit CENTRIC 14362027 £4/75 ea

Sliding pin seals CARLSON H5587 - £3.25 ea

Worth a punt at the money
