Rear hub converter disc type

Postby Stef » Mon 25.07.2016, 21:57

Could anyone advise on what discs fit the 16inch rear hub adaptor?
Know it is a standard ready available part but don't know what to look for!! :)
Thanks

Hi Stef,

if it is the BB one, then I used a Mintex Disc (MDC266)
91 Lotus Elan SE Turbo
03 MG TF 135 Sprint (Partner's)
15 Renault Megane Coupe

If you can't be a good example, then you might as well be a terrible warning

Bought a rear hub conversion last year and bought MDC266 type discs (Astra solid 236mm x 12.5mm) to use. Have now fitted HiSpec rear calipers with 264mm diameter discs so the 236mm 'Astra' discs are now surplus to my needs.
Hardly worn, they are still 12.5mm thick and shiny where the pads contact but with a bit of surface rust where they don't. Anybody want them? New ones are quite cheap so a small voluntary donation to LEC funds might be appropriate.

If you're in Suffolk,Norfolk, Cambridge, Essex or Herts I can bring them to one of the pub meets. Further away we might need to involve a few members to courier them cross country .. postage is possible but may cost more than they're worth
