Would be grateful if someone could advise on the correct type of brake pads to suit the 16" rear PNM conversion.
Going by the search results it seems the calipers are based on those fitted to the Golf MkIV, does that mean any pads for a Golf MkIV are suitable for the kit on the Elan and does the 15" & 16" kit use the same pads? The PNM website seems to list different part numbers for the pads in each of the kits.

PNM fettle the Golf pads to suit the 15" and 16" setups.

Thanks Geoff, probably easiest just to buy direct from PNM then.

Not a bad shout Jamie as I can use the old ones as patterns! Just ordered a set for £9 so not expensive if I make a mess of it.

Pads were almost new so you've been racking up the miles
PNM sell them as mentioned .

Not as many miles as I would have liked
I have new discs to be fitted as the current ones are quite pitted (probably from sitting around at SMS) and would rather fit new pads. I picked up a set of the Golf MKIV rear pads for under £10 with the Eurocarparts discount and cant see any difference, so maybe it is the 15" kit that the pads get fettled for!
