I have removed my rear wishbones, wirebrushed the surface rust off, and i am amazed how solid they are, i can only assume they have been replaced in recent years.
But i noticed they do not have a hole in them anywhere to waxoyl/dinitrol the inside of them like the front lower wishbones, i am thinking of drilling a hole to allow me to do this to help preserve them for many more years, has anyone else done this?

There should be a hole where the hard brake pipe is clipped on. How was yours attached? Or is yours an S2? In which case they should be galvanised.
I don't know of anybody having made a replacement set that weren't either galvanised or stainless.
Maybe somebody else knows more.

Yes there is a small 6mm hole the brake pipe clip is in, but i don't think this will allow me to cover all of the inside of the wishbone. They are SE wishbones so not gavanised.
