If you can get the jig then that should take all the hassle away from a potential manufacturer that won't want to do it for that reason.

While looking for my Elan, I met a lady who lived in Hampshire who was selling her Elan, and she had rolled her first one somewhere around a humpback bridge. I saw the pictures and was amazed she lived to tell the tale - upside down and completely flat. It didn't stop me buying my Elan (or her buying a second one), but as soon as Kuching's hoops were offered, I joined the group buy as I didn't think I'd ever forgive myself if something ever happened with one of my children in the car. We each have our own approach to risk and risk assessment - having the rollbars hasn't made me drive faster or more aggressively - so this post is just to recount my views and my decision making process.
