Hi all, having spent the best part of a year trying to get a response from Mountain Chips link on this forum and even joining the club, is there an alternative on the market?

perhaps all new owners with a non-chipped car would be interested.
It's just not Alan's core business and I was told he is pretty busy with his true core business....
Did you order or just tried to contact him?

I have tried contacting and joining his club but with no avail for close to 8 months.
I have now sourced an alternative that also does turbo work as well which apparently has transformed my car.

Be very carefull or brave however you want to see it, when the upgrade fools the MAP sensor or is of the needle bleed valve type...

Perhaps a simple response from Alan to the forum link from mountain might be helpful, like sorry i'm busy or not doing these any more.
Hopefully Oulton Park will kill or cure it

Exactly, so why is there still a forum link that I can still join for newsletters and we all assume is going to be answered after 3 years?
My Elan expert apparently understands what is required. Fingers crossed it does the business.

I've just registered on the Mountain Chips site, I've had a confirmation- verification email, and put a V4 Chip in my basket and get to the pay option, although i haven't committed to pay yet.So it seems you can still order them.
Update, i have now paid for a V4 chip with adapter via Payapl, so i will let you know if or when i receive it.

I suspect because having made a significant contribution to this community over many years we hope that he may find time to make some more.
Like many niche hobbies we rely on people producing things in their spare time, if they don't have spare time or choose not to produce things that up to them.

Ok then lets take a step back. Alen in conjunction with Billy in the USA have produced the most advanced chip yet. This is on my car and
produces I believe the most HP Torque ratio too date. Our little engine does what you want. Alan knows more than any other chip maker......
Just my 2 cents

I have now received the V4.5 Everest chip and adaptor from Alan for my SE, i got one with the 1499 PROM so i have fitted an O2 sensor, all working well.
So if anyone needs a chip he still shows a few left in stock.

Let's hope so because Alan Elanscanman
really is the expert in this field. By a long way.
Let's hope it's not

Evening,
Has anyone had a mountain chip recently? Nothing is available or in stock so I assume he has packed it in?
I am looking in to rolling road mapping but don't want to break it. Any advise or solution welcome.

There have been plenty of threads on the subject and he is currently not producing them plus the board on which it mounts is no longer available.

Thanks Tony,
I figured as much, however I can't find any posts about other options other than a chat about Alan's personal circumstances. I wish the guy well but was looking for a current chip/power solution? All posts seem years old.
