Dear All:

My apologies for confusing the daylights out of everyone concerning this post. This thread is LIMITED to FEDERAL Elan owners and trying to sort out the situation with their Samco hose needs. Granted some of their hose needs are common with those of Elan owners elsewhere, so please excuse the overlap and, Elantastic and Woody, the hoses you are needing are described in other threads.

To further unravel this ball of Christmas tree lights, lets address everyone's needs in terms of three distinct parcels: "UNIQUE", "ADDITIONAL" and "FULL FED SET". Here is what goes into each of these parcels:

UNIQUE-means that you only need the top AND bottom radiator hoses for the Fed Elan. All you get with this parcel are those two unique and distinct hoses. Last estimate from Amber Performance on this was 20-30 GBP per hose. Now that they have the original hoses from which to make moulds, I expect that we will get a more refined estimate of cost in a short period of time.

ADDITIONAL-Means that all you need is that short, little appendix of a hose that runs from the thermostat housing to the throttle body. Those of you who have already purchased hose kits intended for non-Fed cars will need this hose since it was overlooked the first time around.

FULL FED SET-This is a new kit that is being developed for Fed Elan owners. Once it is done, you will be able to purchase it from Amber Performance. It will contain the UNIQUE hoses and the ADDITIONAL hose so there will be no need to order those separately.

That having been said, the new sign-up lists are as follows:
