what adhesive did you use?
The recommended 3M 80 spray adhesive is impossible to find at a good price.
Are there any other options?

I replaced the bonnet liner 3 years ago and used 3m Spray adhesive 80 and it hasn't come away or caused any issues at all. I know its expensive but then it does have to perform currently in an environment that red hot one minute and below freezing the next. I think its quite impressive stuff and probably not something to cut corners on.
This is the cheapest I've found so far

Alternatively this may do the job as its heat resistant, flexible and bonds to most surfaces and is on special offer at the moment.

Is it worth the risk to save circa £10 though?

My wife's just divorced me because I wouldn't open the car door for her!
To be fair I panicked and swam straight for the surface.

I sell the the 1/2 inch version on my site for $89.00. The
Lotuselancentral discount password gets you a 15% discount
on my web site.
FWIW eBay will always be higher since I pay eBay fees of about 15% of the selling price.
The one from LBCC is probably the best buy for basic function and looks.
I think it's time to get one of these as mine is now very tatty. Does anyone know if the discount still holds and what the pass word is, please?

I believe the password is simply Lotuselancentral, as indicated in bold in the quoted message.
