Shipping to the states.

When my plastic radiator died I got the replacement from here:
http://www.rondavisradiators.com/

Might want to give them a call, may be cheaper than shipping from UK.

Hello All,

THE HEADER TANK HAS LANDED!!

Just got back from fitting Woodies and it went on like a glove. The sight glass is a real bonus otherwise you have to take the cap off and dip the water to check the level. I have attached some pictures of the final fitting.

Header Tank:

Engine Bay:

This item is of extremely high quality in both manufacture and materials and this is the pricing structure:

The basic header tank will be offered on eBay for £168.00 inclusive of vat plus £10.00 shipping in the UK.
The cost including sight glass will be £198.00 inclusive of vat plus £10.00 shipping in the UK.

The basic header tank will be offered to forum members for £155.00 inclusive of vat plus £10.00 shipping in the UK.
The cost including sight glass will be £180.00 inclusive of vat plus £10.00 shipping in the UK.

We have nearly finished the second header for Steve in Virginia and would hope to have 10 available by the end on next week.

The items will not be placed on eBay until any forum members requirements have been fulfilled.

Pleas let me know if you like the design

Regards

Steve 8)

Hi all,

I have been taken a back by the demand for the new header tank. We are waiting on a delivery of threaded filler necks this week and as long as these arrive on time I will be at Donington with a shed load of header tanks. I will also have some race quality header tanks with a standard billet neck and a 20lb stainless steel pressure cap with a pressure relief lever fitted. This version will be £200 to forum members. I will post the progress of manufacture on Monday or Tuesday and look forward to seeing you all at Donington.

Regards

A big thanks again Woody for letting us use your engine bay to get the header tank design spot on. I hope you are pleased with your new header tank and radiator. I have checked your enquiry and to etch prime your radiator and paint it black will cost £15 forum members price. Thanks again and see you at Donington on Saturday.

Hello All,

A quick note for all those going to Donington this week end, I was unable to get an exhibitors stand but have been able to get 2 tables in the auto jumble section against the back wall. We will be displaying most of our Lotus products especially the new M100 aluminium header tanks and radiators. We are trying to get some built to sell on the stand but are concentrating on the ones that have been sold to members who have PM us and ordered product. We will have some items and be happy to sell them to anyone who would like one (I must hasten to add not at auto jumble prices) I am trying to have ready some new polished aluminium caps to fit the standard header tank in place of the standard plastic pressure cap. The polished aluminium caps will accept the pressure and vacuum device fitted in the standard plastic cap.
I look forward to meeting you over the weekend. I might be called upon to give a talk on radiators and cooling systems but the stand will be manned at all times.

Regards

Hi Woody,

We have etch primed a radiator and painted it black for you and will have it on the stand at the Lotus show. If you bring you new radiator to the stand I will swap it for the painted one and buy you a drink.

See you there,

Regards

Steve:
Not trying to rain on your parade, but it has been years since $1.50 to the pound. I believe that is what they will give you when converting pounds to USD but for us the average right now is $1.61 with international fees and charges. PayPal is charging $1.66 for a transfer. Your prices seem to be reasonable, but it does make a difference. It is expensive to transfer money internationally as most banks have minimum charges, so Credit Cards and Western Union get to make a large profit. £435.00 is $722.10 at $1.66 to the pound.

I really like your products and will probably order when funds are available.

Hi there Brit car nut,

Thanks for your comments. I Googled the exchange rate at the time of the article and it came back with $1.55 I appreciate that this is a headline rate and it will differ dependent on what means of transfer that you use. The only saving grace is that you pay 17% less than the UK member with the sales tax removed. The radiator is being sold for minimal profit due to competition in the UK. All that have purchase the header tank to date have been delighted with the quality.

After dropping off my radiator at the testing/repair shop I just now got the word (after 12 days :censored:) that I'll need to replace it. It's now Friday too late to contact Coolexperts their time until, I'm assuming, on Monday. So my question - Has anyone from the USA ordered one and if so what was the turnaround time to delivery?

If it helps do you want to get in on this shipment .
